Star shook her midnight mane once he dismounted. She was a bit tired now, but that didn’t matter. She noticed his vocals where husky when he spoke to her. So she’ll be the first one to give him an off spring for his new herd. She turned around so she was facing him instead of heaving her back to her. Her hazel eyes noticed that his eyes still had red showing from the adrenaline rush.
“Alright, I’ll follow you there,” she said. At least she had some type of a place to call ‘safe’ while she would be pregnant. Of course this stallion who might allow her to stay on his land would have the final word or not. She flickered her black tail just a little, more like a twitch to get a fly off of her hind while she waited for Xander to reply. Though it was hard for her to keep her mind on him instead of wondering off onto the many subject of pregnant.

Crania nodded to her reply. He walked the path that he had just been chasing her on. Really the paths here weren't that hard to learn if you walked them often. She just happened to take one to many wrong turns in her run, or perhaps she would have been clear to keep running. He didn't brag or anything though, it wasn't like him. Once the path had widened a bit Xander cantered, tired of the slow pace the walk set. Xander was sure she'd probably follow, since she now was likely to carry his foal. She seemed like the mare that preferred a two parent relationship. Xander wasn't stupid or cruel enough to force the mare to care for the foal, then he come and take it when it was old enough to be weaned, and then just impregnate her again for another foal. No, that's why Xander didn't claim a territory in the dark lands. He wasn't a pure dark, he had a kinder side to him that kept him from permanently living there. It was why he preferrred not to go to the forcing grounds and claim a mare. He wasn't all that in to slavery, but instead a small herd.

Star followed him down the path and when he picked up his pace to a canter, she followed. Seeing that they are just going to head towards the land that he was going to see if she could live in, she allowed her mind to wonder off. She was thinking about many things about what could come. She always do that so that not every thing would come to her as a surprise. What she thought mostly was about the foal’s future. What if it was one of those rare cases where she had two foals to take care of? What would happen if it was another rare case where the mother dies during the foals birth? All those questions she tried to answer and more. But the most important thing that was on her mind, if she had a colt, what would his alliance be? Neutral or darq? Like Xander had said, his allaince really depends on what mood he is in. So if the colt or filly sees more of the neutral side of him, she wouldn’t have to worry about it.
