It was that time of the day when the sun is half way under the horizon. The normally blue sky is painted with colors of pink, purple, orange, and other colors. The temperature is slowly dropping for the night that was soon to come. The lake reflected the sky with all of its natural beauty in it.
A mare stood at the edge of the water so the cool water washed up over her hooves. Her hazel eyes occupied in the water, watching it’s creatures swim about to catch the last of the sun rays. Her stomach was stretched telling others that she was defiantly carrying a foal with in her body.
She shifted so that she was putting her weight one leg for too long. She had started to become restless the past few nights and she was exhausted. She bent her brown neck down into the water to get a drink. She could feel the water go down her throat into her belly and after a while, lifted her neck to gaze up at the sky.
